Hi, we're Dustin and Dominique! We're a 20-something married couple living in Austin, TX with our 2 chihuahuas Kali and Cheeky, and our cat Rocky.
What:
To remodel and live full-time in a 1986 32' Airstream Excella. We bought it in June of this year in Arkansas.
Why(in no particular order):
- To save money to fund our emergency fund(Dave Ramsey), future retirement, future house, etc, etc.
- Pay off all our debt including our car, very quickly
- To stop renting
- Flexibility- no contracts
- Freedom
- Travel More
- Work less and eventually from home together
- Smaller environmental footprint
- Walk, bike and scoot more
- Live closer to downtown
- Experience more of Austin
- Go to more concerts
- Watch less TV
- Read more
- Live more simply
- Because how cool is it!? We don't have kids yet and think this will be an awesome adventure.
